About ATC - general information
Åland Technology Center (ÅTC) is a unit under the Department of Trade and Industry at the Government of Åland with an aim to promote in the development of innovations and business ideas with a focus on commercialization.
Growth in business is dependent on knowledge and therefore it is important that innovative ideas are translated into new products, processes and services. ÅTC assists Åland companies, individuals and groups in various stages of its corporate development. From an early business idea to commercialization.
ÅTC
- has a broad focus with a view to promote innovation and technological development in various areas which are particularly important for the Åland industry.
- cooperate and build networks of private and public operators to new technologies and knowledge to be produced, distributed and used - the innovation system.
- initiates, operates or participates as a partner in projects aimed at developing the Åland industry
